At the stores: Tops Markets, Walmart and Wegmans
Must be clean and dry!
Do NOT recycle bags with food, strings, handles, closing mechanisms, soil, mulch, or bubble wrap!
NiCds, Lithium ion, sealed lead, Nickel metal hydride
The NYS Rechargeable Battery Recycling Act makes it illegal to knowingly dispose
of certain rechargeable, lithium ion, button and sealed lead batteries in the regular trash.
Take them to:
Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, Staples, Walmart, or Wegman’s (for no charge)
Car, Boat, Lawn Mower Batteries (Lead acid)
Take to a scrap metal dealer for ($) or Pavilion accepts them.
Cell phones- return where you purchased it.
Packing peanuts- take clean ones to Mailboxes, UPS, Etc.
Syringes and Needles- call hospital to see if they accept them.
THE FOLLOWING GO IN THE LARGE DUMPSTER
Items must be emptied, cleaned, and caps off (but recyclable). Labels acceptable.
THE TOWN IS CHARGED FOR DISPOSAL OF RECYCLING MATERIAL!

Town of Pavilion NO LONGER ACCEPTS
Computers, Monitors, TVs, Microwaves.
They can be taken to Genesee ARC

Pavilion DOES NOT accept rechargeable batteries.
You can return these items to electronic stores, including cords.
