The Town Board of the Town of Pavilion held the Regular Board meeting on October 11, 2023 at the Town Hall, One Woodrow Drive, Pavilion, New York 14525 at 7:00 pm Present were:
Supervisor Robert LaPoint
Councilperson John Rudgers
Councilperson Donald Oberlin
Councilperson James Thater
Councilperson Dean Davis Absent
Others: Cindy Starr, James Cleveland, Ken Steinmetz & George Jinks
Following pledge to the Flag, Deputy Supervisor LaPoint opened the meeting at 7:00PM
Report –Highway-James Cleveland
- Perry Road covert pipes are being changed road is closed.
- Roadside mowing has started
- Sewer grinder pump on Wyoming Rd failed
- New pick up truck is here old truck needs to be declared surplus

Sewer- Donald Oberlin – no report
Code Enforcement-James Thater
*Hanson Aggregates will demo house on Ellicott St Rd.
*Corner of Linwood Rd and Rt 20 sign has been approved
Water -Dean Davis – no report
Supervisor LaPoint offered a motion, seconded by Councilperson Thater
RESOLUTION # 70 of 2023: Declare 2022 Pick Up Truck as Surplus
BE IT RESOLVED: Declare 2022 pick-up truck and plow equipment as surplus equipment to be sold on Auctions International.

RESOLUTION #71 of 2023: Adopt 2024 Preliminary Budget
RESOLVED: Adopting of 2024 Preliminary Budget.

RESOLUTION # 72 of 2023: 2024 Public Hearing to Break Tax Cap
RESOLVED: Public Hearing November 8, 2023 @ 7:00PM the purpose for Local Law #3, 2023 to break 2024 tax cap.

RESOLVED: Public Hearing for the 2024 Budget will be November 8, 2023 @ 7:30 PM.

TOTAL $172,955.47
